I just left Buttercup and thought I'd share some thoughts. I've been going here for decades now. Found out about the place from my wife who grew up down the road. This place is one of a vanishing breed. A family owned establishment for generations that you just don't find anymore. It has a certain feel..a familiar charm about it. The employees' range from high school age to seniors, all kind and helpful. I can tell the customers are loyal, many having shopped there for years like me. Shopping there just feels nice, in a old fashioned hometown way. Speaking of shopping, I live in Miller Place so Buttercup isn't exactly in ones usual shopping radius. But gladly, I go out of my way for the muffins. Oh the muffins... Don't get me started but I don't know what it is about their homemade muffins but they are the best!! Sure lots of other places have good muffins. But Buttercup muffins? FORGETABOUTIT!! For me, no one can beat them. Blindfolded I would know their flavor. So a heart felt thankyou to the good folks at Buttercup. Keep up the great work and please don't change a thing. You're just perfect as you are.
Hidden gem!! Full deli inside with everything for a quick dinner or lunch, a mini grocery store and tons of fresh homemade pies and ice cream. All at a great price too. Will be coming back very soon!

Their assortment includes a delightful selection of breads, bagels, cookies, and various pastries.
The staff is exceptionally courteous and friendly.
Parking is convenient, as there is a spacious parking lot available.
