Butterhead Salad Company

Giving 5 stars because I support this business and love having a salad place in the area! Only critique is to quality check the toppings, as the grilled chicken had some cartilage in it, and something in the salad was crunchy but not good crunchy, almost like grains of sand (might have been cilantro that wasn’t washed thoroughly?). Also wish there was a light/medium/heavy ask for dressing, as the dressing was a bit too light and I had done takeout so I couldn’t return to ask for a bit more. But otherwise a great place with great options, and next time would prefer to eat in.

Not your average salad chain (I tried many!). This is clearly one step above: generous portions, light but also filling. One of the best salads of my life!

Beautiful lettuce. Great options for composed salad or build your own. Also quinoa bowls and warm bowls. Very friendly staff. Simple but nice decor. Gigantic portions.

AMAZING selection of fresh food. Atmosphere is a vibe all by itself! It’s clean and the food is prepared right in front of you. Service is A+, the owner is present and engages with the customer. I cannot say enough good about this place. An absolute gem right in the heart of New Paltz. Even the bathroom is clean and cute!! Can’t wait to go back!
