Really cozy, super cute and delicious little spot. The woman who served me was sweeter than the scrumptious smoothies she made and so thoughtful. Their baked goods are fluffy and finger-lickin, and all of this I enjoyed in a beautiful built-in corner seat. Big fan. Thank you!
The barista, who I assume is the owner, had such a sweet and friendly demeanor. While the prices for coffee were on the higher end, her hospitality and the vintage inspired decor made up for it. The pastries also looked super good! I sat outside at their sidewalk table and worked on my laptop.
This place is a real hidden gem. I fell in love with their little teddy bear financiers (adorable and delicious) on my first visit, and now I try to come back for one (or two or three) every time I’m in the city. What really makes this place so lovely is the lady at the counter (who I think is the owner) who is so friendly and welcoming. I stopped in today for my little teddy bears and she asked if I wanted to try a croissant - I hadn’t even realized she hadn’t charged me for it until I’d already left and couldn’t give the profuse thanks that is deserved for such a kind gesture. It was the middle of the day, so it’s not that they were trying to get rid of unsold product - just kindness! That kind of generosity indicates, to me, her real love of what she does and the cafe’s desire to have loyal repeat customers as opposed to just making sales. And I think that counts for a ton in such a huge city! There is some seating in the small but lovely interior (instagram-able, if you’re into that!). If you’re looking for a great pastry and some friendliness to brighten your day then I highly recommend this place. Love, love, love.
I went there twice to pick up a Too good to go bag. It's great they're helping fight food waste. Both the young man and the lad are super friendly which is a bonus on top of their delicious food. I definitely recommend you try them.
A cute and quaint coffee shop with solid coffee and pastry selection. There is only indoor seating with about 4 small tables. Came for the special cold brew and canele though both were either no longer available or sold out so opted for Iced Coconut Milk Caffe Mocha, Teddy Bear Financier (almond flour cookie), and Almond Croissant. The coffee and Financier was tasty and look forward to trying croissant another day. From service perspective, was a bit clunky at first where I got strange reaction/reply when asked if cold brew is still available. Service eventually got better later on so will give this spot another try when in the area again as it might be a one-off based on no. of glowing review from other reviewers.
