This is hands down the best jerk chicken spot in Brooklyn. I’ve been eating here at least once a week for the last 3 years. The food is always delicious and fresh and Tony is also

Stumbled upon this jerk grill one night…
Rogers Avenue boasts of an active nightlife. After leaving The Deia, the aroma from Cavy’s smoky grill lured us in. It’s a simple and quaint restaurant, with an authentic no-frills real-deal vibe, and some of the best Jamaican food I have ever eaten in NYC!
Food is energy. My first bite tasted like healing. Moved deeply enough to say a silent prayer to “bless the hands that made the food!” Can’t remember the last time I had such a warm reaction to my first bite of food!
I fell in love that night — then returned the very next day for more! Yeah… the food’s that good!!!
