Beautiful path lined with wildlife and stunning water views

Paved trail in picturesque maritime forest. In and out hike could be under 40 mins. You could also make a loop via sea shore path. This LI beach is one of the best options to combine beach day with walk / hiking.

Very beautiful beach park near me. Very well kept and clean. They have a beautiful 1-2 mile long nature trail that me and my friends always walk that leads to the main fishing pier. Many people fish down there. North shore fishing. Plenty of porgy's, and sea robins. And they have Tiki Joe's which is a nice Bar/restaurant on site in the main parking lot.

This was the first time I took my service dog to the beach. While we were exploring, a family was fishing, and one of the little ones showed me the fish he had caught. He saw my camera and asked me to take a picture of the fish for him. I walked down the small boardwalk, saw the sun, and decided to snap another picture. The last picture I returned later early in the morning and snap it. My total experience of Cedar Beach Town Nature Preserve is beyond beautiful. I will be posting the most amazing pictures once I return.

Good beach with some great views. Quiet and can be peaceful. Have a relaxing walk on the sand (northern side) while listening to the waves gently crashing on the shore and viewing the Long Island Sound towards Connecticut. Some areas in this location listed for fishing (further western section) and it does have boat ramps (south/eastern section into Mt. Sinai Harbor). Small playground in one section for kids to enjoy. Several bathrooms also available. A lot of parking available.
