Really thought about it and really hate to leave bad reviews. Came here after seeing all the positive reviews on google. The man wearing a whitecoat who cut my hair provided a pretty bad experience.

I entered the shop and was greeted and seated promptly. Without asking anything, the man just started to cut my hair like he was in a hurry (the shop was not busy, not once asked me how I would like my hair to be cut). During the cut, I tried to tell him I like to go for a short haircut. He ignored me and continued to do what he wanted. After about 5 mins or so, he signaled that the haircut is complete. I tried to explain to him again that I would like to cut it short and he refused.

Did not use a mirror to show me how the back of head looks post-cut. Did not wash my hair. Needless to say, the lack-of-care cut shows after checking at home.

Felt like I wasted my money here.

I am not sure if this man is the owner or an employee, but definitely not a good way to represent your business. Had many opportunities to address the issue (just listen to the customer please).

The shop I visited is on 747 Central Park Ave. Not sure if this place changed hands after all the positive reviews (first-time visit) or I was just unlucky.

Was excited to try this place out. Unfortunately can't recommend for men's haircut.

Mia has consistently done an amazing job on my pixie cut (I'm a woman) for an affordable price! Would highly recommend her if you want a cute style to your pixie! I wasn't judged for having short hair and she didn't try to convince me to keep it long, like other hairstylists have in the past. And she's super friendly!

Great for Asian hair. I recommend making an appointment but they are good about squeezing you in if possible. One summer I asked for a short hair style where when I move around, I could feel it move with me. I loved the hairstyle. They are always willing to accommodate and to try out new styles. My teenage daughters go there too and always walk away happy.

Loved loved this hair salon! Estella is the sweetest! She was very gentle with my hair, took her time and I loved the way my hair came out. I wanted a simple layered hair cut. Wash, cut and blowout came out to $40. They're also a barbershop and I've seen them do a great job with haircuts for young boys. I'll definitely be returning and recommending this place to others!
