I had a wonderful experience at Numi today. My stylist, Jacob, took the time to speak with me before anything else happened. Too many salons would send me to get my hair washed immediately upon arrival (even though I had just washed it at home), and I'd first meet the stylist with a wet head.

Jacob suggested some hair cut modifications that I hadn't considered, and he was right. The final cut is spot-on gorgeous!

He also showed me some styling products to consider, but there was no pressure to buy.

Overall, I had an excellent experience at Numi, and I look forward to going again. I would definitely recommend this salon!

My experience at Numi Scarsdale was outstanding. I received a Magic Sleek treatment with Rosanna, and her expertise and attention to detail were exceptional my hair has truly never looked better. Elan also provided an excellent trim, taking care of my dry ends with great skill. The entire team is highly professional, welcoming, and dedicated to delivering top-tier service. I am extremely impressed and will absolutely be making this my new salon. Highly recommended.

I was in search of a new salon and found Numi! It did not disappoint. From the moment I walked in and had a warm welcome from a lovely and gracious staff at the front desk to an amazing experience with Gabriel! He was so attentive and truly captured what type of haircut was right for me! The blowout was amazing! I was in and out in under an hour! Love my haircut! I will be back again!

I want to start by saying that I actually wrote a review about Numi before I even stepped foot in the salon based on my experience trying to book an appointment. At that time, I said they had lost me as a client before I even sat in the chair.
The only reason I am mentioning this is because I want to give credit where it is due to the people who made it possible for me to experience the kind of service Numi truly has to offer, and who gave me the grace and opportunity to feel as happy as I do right now with the results.
After seeing my initial review, the salon manager reached out several times and left me thoughtful messages. I did not respond at first, but when she called again, I finally answered, and I am so glad I did. She listened to everything I had to say, genuinely apologized, and handled the situation with kindness and professionalism. She offered me a chance to come back, promising the best care and arranging both the colorist and haircut I wanted with Gabriel and Tonka on the same day.
To be honest, I usually never go back to a place after a bad review because it can be uncomfortable, and too often people treat you differently. But her sincerity convinced me to give it another chance, even though I had already booked another salon and was not going to get that deposit back. I am so glad I trusted my gut and the reviews that spoke so highly of this team because today’s experience was absolutely worth it.
From the moment I walked in, everyone treated me with warmth and care. I first met Gabriel, who took the time to talk through my uncertainty about whether to cut my hair short or keep the length, explaining what would look best for my face shape and current style. His honesty and expertise immediately put me at ease.
Then I met Tonka, who was an absolute sweetheart. I had about a thousand ideas and directions, probably more confusing than helpful, but she listened patiently, explained every option clearly, and made sure I understood the process and what to expect from my color choices before she started. She combined balayage and baby lights to keep my hair natural, blended, and bright, and her technique was flawless. For the first time ever, my hair lifted quickly and evenly without sitting under heat forever (or in this case, at all). The final color speaks for itself, and I have attached a photo because words cannot do it justice.
When it came time for the haircut, Gabriel worked magic. I will admit I had recently tried to cut my own curtain bangs, and let’s just say it did not go as planned. Somehow, he managed to fix it perfectly. My hair now has beautiful layers, movement, and volume, exactly like the photo I showed him. He is a true artist with scissors.
From Sarah, who helped coordinate everything, to Sonia, who washed my hair, to the kind gentleman who helped with my blow dry (I wish I had caught his name), everyone made me feel special.
This entire experience turned what started as frustration into genuine gratitude. I left feeling beautiful, confident, and so cared for, exactly what I needed before my birthday.
So yes, I deleted my old review, and I am proudly giving Numi Salon in Scarsdale a 5+ star review. Not because everything went perfectly from the start, but because when things did not, they handled it with grace, accountability, and heart.
I highly recommend Numi to family, friends, and anyone who wants to feel as pretty and valued as I do right now. I will absolutely be coming back.

I had such a wonderful experience at this salon today! Ruben was absolutely amazing—so sweet, attentive, and truly talented. He made me feel so comfortable and transformed my look completely. I walked out feeling like a brand-new girl, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. Highly recommend booking with Ruben if you want someone who really cares and delivers incredible work!
