Check Engine Chuck LLC Auto Diagnostics and Programming

We’ve relied on Check Engine Chuck LLC at our shop for a wide variety of issues, and he has never let us down. He’s easy to reach, always returns calls promptly, and consistently shows up right when he says he will. His communication is top-notch—whether it’s setting realistic expectations or keeping us updated on any delays. His diagnostics are spot on, and he truly goes the extra mile to provide the most accurate information possible. On the rare occasions where something needed a second look, he followed up quickly and gave us clear direction. He’s also been a huge help in communicating issues directly to customers, breaking things down in plain English instead of tech jargon so they fully understand what’s going on. Chuck knows his stuff! He came to me and did a free diagnostic to confirm a part I needed. I brought my car into his garage with a list of concerns and within an hour, Suzy called me back to let me know what chuck recommended regarding every concern and the cost of parts and the labor for each repair. Unfortunately the priority was that I needed a new radiator…that can be pricey, so I opted to find one used or aftermarket and asked chuck to install it but he advised he only installs his own parts so he can warranty them. I understood and appreciate that for future visits. However, even though I went elsewhere for the install, Chuck was nice to enough to fix my windshield wiper fluid hose and replace my rear brake light free of charge. I know it was probably no sweat, but I appreciate that bc so many mechanics are not customer service oriented, they just want your money. Chuck gives the impression that he cares about his customers, not to mention his honesty and communication. He responds quickly and he can come to you in an emergency. Hopefully I won’t need any repairs anytime soon but if I do I’m definitely going to Chuck!

Wife was traveling out of town visiting family in NY and CT. Check engine light came on. Worried it was something serious and had to travel 250 plus miles back home, I looked for a highly rated repair garage. Found Chuck on Google with great reviews. Better than going to an unknown garage and getting taking advantage of. Called Chuck and next day, as scheduled mechanic showed up where wife was staying at a friends. Mechanic was absolutely great. Checked engine and diagnosed in minutes. Luckily nothing serious and could wait until back home to see our regular mechanic. Best yet, there was no charge! Feeling obligated for such great service and refusal to be compensated, we referred him to my brother-in-law, who just happen to need work to be done on his car! Very professional and courteous. Highly recommend.

Chuck is a real deal, "Old School" values man who keeps his word and truly cares about his customers. Great pricing and knows what he is doing so he keeps the time down on diagnosing and fixing the patient (vehicle). I trust him with the safety of my precious cargo!
