Claire's Garden Center

Amazing plants and flowers. Claire, her husband and her daughter are so nice and helpful as well as very knowledgeable about all the plants. We are definitely frequent buyers when we visit the area. We recommend this place to anyone who is looking for plants or flowers.

Claire’s is hands down the BEST garden center in Putnam and Westchester. They have an amazing selection of healthy, hard-to-find perennials and annuals that always look beautiful and thrive once planted. I used to visit about 10 different nurseries every season to track down specific plants, but ever since I found Claire’s, it’s my first stop—and honestly, I get almost everything I need there (except for a couple of things I still love at Katonah Nursery or Rosedale).

What really sets Claire’s apart, though, is the people. DeeDee, Glen, Sarah, and the rest of the staff remember me and my family by name. They always take the time to chat, offer thoughtful suggestions, and share their love of gardening. It’s such a refreshing change from the big box stores—this place is personal, warm, and full of heart. You can tell they love what they do, and it makes all the difference.
