Had such a great experience today with Aly. Loved the atmosphere, it’s a small studio with three chairs so you feel like everything is catered to you. It was warm inside, smelled fabulous, shampoo chair was comfortable (very important!) and the hair cut was the best part. Definitely recommend to someone looking for a more personalized experience.
My partner and I came in for a relaxing session and tried the Deep Moisture Hair + Scalp Treatment with Christopher Berlin at the Hair Studio.
Booking online was super easy, and even though we arrived a little late, the staff was incredibly accommodating and welcoming. From the moment we walked in, everything felt calm, and comfortable.
The products smelled amazing and the treatment itself was both relaxing and fun. Christopher was wonderful and made the whole experience feel personalized and enjoyable. Afterward, my hair looked so shiny and healthy, which is saying a lot considering how much bleaching and dyeing it’s been through.
Huge thank you to everyone at Cold Spring Apothecary for the hospitality!! We’ll definitely be back!
I love everything about Cold Spring Apothecary - the staff are kind, the atmosphere is calm, the smells are divine and the hair salon is top notch yet affordable. After moving from the city, I kept going back to my old hair dresser because I didn't want to go through the "trial and error" of a new salon. But I finally tried Cold Spring Apothecary on the advice of a friend, and I loved it. No trial and error, and just a lovely experience.
It was nice in here, the staff were friendly and everything smelled really good. My sister bought a room spray here which she really likes and bought before when she visited last month.
The room spray scents that I noticed at the front, right when you walk through the front door are black pepper and tobacco, sandalwood and vetiver, and tonka bean and birch. They may have more, but those are just the three that I saw when I visited. They also have things like candles and a few cosmetic items as well.
Overall, great items to purchase for yourself or as gifts!
Big fan of this place for years. In particular, I often stock up on the candles and diffusers, which are attractive, have tightly crafted scents, and are reasonably priced.
The staff is always quite helpful and it’s a great place to pick up gifts. The building is a stunner, especially as the leaves on the brick exterior change in the fall.
I haven’t tried their wellness services but it looks refined, clean, and relaxing.
