I had a great experience at Costco optical. Evelyn the lady that helped us at the counter was very knowledgeable at her job, excellent costumer service, I went to buy a simple frame for my daughter’s lenses and end up buying two lenses with new frames, we were very satisfied with her care and the products we bought at a great price! Greatly recommend
Okay. The optometrist (tall bald guy). He is pushy and sarcastic. He tries to pressure you into buying more than you actually need. He gets an attitude if you don't comply. Very annoying and I won't return to this costco because of him.
I'm giving 5 stars mainly due to my experience with the Optometrists who are independent of Costco, but located within. I highly recommend them. For 130 I received one of the most, if not THE most, comprehensive eyeglass and contact lense exam I've ever received. Prescriptions are printed and provided without having to ask. I bought glasses from Costco. Frame selection is limited, especially in sunglasses. However, if you find a suitable frame you can't beat the prices here. I bought Gucci frames for 149. My lenses are progressive, super thin with anti glare coating(included). A mere 150! My last comparable pair of complete glasses cost me 675. Tip...although they seem hesitant to do so Costco will put lenses in frames you purchase elsewhere. I believe there is an additional 30 dollar fee. Well worth it in my opinion.
Selection of frames is not great but lens are about 25% of the price of what they would be at most boutique glass stores.
