Our cat Snow Goose was a patient at Country Comfort Animal Hospital, and I want to say thank you to them for their work in trying to help get her healthy, and for their care and compassion when we had to say goodbye. We really felt like they cared about Snow Goose and about us too. I strongly recommend them for folks looking for a vet who is willing to spend the time to listen to you, and talk to you about what's going on with your pet. Thank you Dr. Megan and everyone else at Country Comfort.
I brought my cat Sniffles to Country Comfort Veterinary Hospital today because she had, well, the sniffles. She was sneezing, eyes watery, nose crusty, appetite decreased, lethargic, & not herself at all. I was greeted by the friendliest receptionist I've ever met! Paula checked us in with a big cherry smile, & Nancy, a Vet Tech, brought us back, & got a very thorough history on Sniffles. I love her personality! What a wonderful, warm-hearted person she is. Dr. Pedevillano came in to examine my little fluffball. She was so nice, gentle with Sniffles, & communicated her findings with every palpation. She treated Sniffles like the beloved family member that she is. Her warmth & compassion came through with every move she made & every word she spoke. Gavy, another Vet Tech, came to help with an infusion & injection. She has such a bubbly personality! She also is very skilled clinically. All 3 really left an impression on me. We all shared many a healthcare chuckle in the time Sniffles & I spent in their office.
I am beyond thrilled to have found this veterinary practice. I feel like my cats will be in the care of the best practitioners in the area!
Thank you so much, Dr Pedevillano, Paula, Nancy & Gavy!
I finally found the Best ! Dr. Pedevillano is the Best, Most Compassionate, kind Veterinarian in Dutchess County. Knowledgeable, takes her time, explains everything and the vet tech and receptionist are wonderful. I’m so grateful I found Country Comfort Animal Hospital. If I could post 10 stars I would. Thank You !
Best vet and staff!! Although Clover doesn’t super love it here, I do! They always fit me in if something comes up, and they are very very thorough. My cat used to get frequent ear infections and now he doesn’t anymore because they gave me something that works for him to give him occasionally to prevent them. Please don’t change — I don’t want to
Take Clover anywhere else 😘
We have two cats, and we (and they) have had ver positive experiences with Dr. Morin and her staff. Last winter our newly adopted cat, Ugo, nearly died, probably from an overdose of anesthesia at the shelter where he'd been adopted and neutered. Our other cat, Homer, has just been diagnosed with hyperthyroidism. She and her excellent staff inspire my confidence every time our cats need attention. Also, during this pandemic, everyone there is following protective measures; additionally we humans remain in our cars while our pets are taken in and out for examination and/or treatment. All questions are answered and other information freely given; mutual respect is the reliable order of the day. In Homer's case, the tests that were run, the meaning of the various readings, and treatment to be undertaken were all fully explained when Dr. Morin phoned me with the results. I wish all doctors for humans were as responsive and dedicated as Dr. Morin, who studied veterinary medicine at McGill University in Montreal.
