I came on Wednesday to schedule an appointment for Saturday. I was told that someone would call me back later. They called me on Friday afternoon. Quoted me one price, but once it was all done, they wanted additional fund. This is not a business I would refer to anyone unless you’re in a pinch.

My stylist did a great job. I love how my braids came out. Perfect for this hot weather we're having. My braids are nice and tight without any tension.

I have to give this place one star. I first went here a year ago , asked for triangle boho box braids with #27 or 24 mixed in, wanted the colors to be throughought the braid not just starting down the middle. They told me $120 on the phone hair included knowing my hair length and style, for a same day appointment , but when I got there they made it $280. Gave her a $30 tip. I liked it that time but soon became frustrated because the curls which were also synthetic hair just looked so so bad even with proper care and wrapping up at night even sleeping face down most of the time. Worst part was upon taking it out one of the braids that was really tight left a literal bald spot, a little bigger than a quarter but luckily it has since grown in (of course shorter than my other hairs.

I then a couple month later I went in for a lace front wig to be placed for a big work event, it was $240 and let me tell you it was so friggen bad I took it out the very next day wasting a beautiful $200 human hair wig. They did me so dirty I can’t tell you how mad I was. I figured you know what maybe she just doesn’t lay wigs very well.

Few months later I want the same style I got the first time and they tried to have the trainee do it, and it was looking so bad I told her please just take it all out , gave her $20 for her effort and left.

So last week I decided I wanted to go back, told them I only wanted Danica to braid my hair (I’ve ever even SEEN Cynthia if she exists, just Danica and another girl who speaks Spanish and is some kind of Hispanic and no I’m not racist I’m Hispanic myself just trying to describe her) .
My appointment was 10am. First appointment available. Got there 15 min early came in 5 min early and was told Danica would be in shortly. She shows up at 1020. Says hi, takes her coat off and then sits down to eat. After maybe 20 minutes of eating she told me to sit in the chair. I showed her photos of her previous work the triangle
Boho box braids with #27 or 24 , showed the pictures multiple times , at first she brings out basically just brown hair and black curls. I’m like , no I wanted more blonde. So she eventually gets the right package , funnily enough used significantly less hair for my waist length hair, used loose curls instead of the tighter ones, etc. I paid the $280 and left just saying “thanks” cuz ain’t no way I was tipping for something I didn’t like and spoke up about more than once. I told her I want it like (showed pics) you did it the first time I want some blonde to be throughout the entire braid on at the very least every 3rd braid and at least two in the front. Nope. She did one like that and then I guess didn’t feel like taking the time to do more that way. Not going back. Just found and independent stylist who told me $190 after I showed her pictures and explained in detail what I wanted told her hair length etc. and with her the curls are human hair. Another $280 and 4 hours down the drain.
