They charged me exactly twice as much to patch a flat tire than Mavis Tires. They were very nice but with an appointment it took an hour and a 1/2. I live 3 miles away for 10 years and wanted to give them a try.
I am thankful to have such a great business in our town. I have been using Dawson’s motors now for 8 years and 3 vehicles later. Excellent service, honest, full of integrity, and overall hassle free. Everyone is always so friendly and helpful. The staff will go above and beyond to work with you.
My son bought a 1999 Ford Mustang GT from them; he's tickled pink with it! Couldn't be happier with the car. Bill and John were very professional. Price was perfect! He looks forward to keeping the car for many years to come.
The first time I went here, they seemed to be trying to get me to have unnecessary work done. It was a little pricey, but adequate.
Fast forward 2 years. I’ve been going to some other local shops, but they have been making me drop off for a day for diagnostics, then come back at a later date, up to 2 weeks later for the work to be done, another full day drop-off. I don’t work locally and miss >2 days of work any time there’s a problem.
Last night my check engine light went on. At 8am, the shops I’ve been using still hadn’t shown up to work. I left the house looking for a shop to get me in at 7:30am. Finally I called Dawson’s around 8:20am and all they could promise was a diagnostic and letting me know if it was safe to drive. They did better. They looked at it, said they needed to order a dealer part for the repair and would get me done same day. They had me out at 11am- and I’m able to go into work just 3 hours late instead of missing the day (or multiple days).
I think I will be returning, although I think they might’ve cost me more than some of the other shops for the repair.
I recently took my 2000 Jeep Wrangler in for inspection and to have my SnoWay plow installed. They also installed badly needed new tires on my trailer for me. The staff was great; friendly & helpful, they took the time to make sure everything was explained to me. In the end, my SnoWay plow was installed properly, wired up nice and neat and works great. If you are looking for a SnoWay plow, they sell and install them right there. I know if I need work on my Jeep or my 2010 Honda CR-V I'll be taking them to Dawson.
