I would not go to anyone else. The office always goes above and beyond to accommodate my needs. Also the Dr never rushes you and gives you the attention you deserve.
I’ve only recently become a patient of Dr. Schwalb’s, so this review is based on our first appointment, which was treated as an annual physical. I could not have been more impressed by his thoroughness, knowledge, intelligence, sincerity and genuine interest in me, and in my medical history. In a long life, one sees a number of doctors. Most are forgotten, a few are remembered for their performance, and (if you’re lucky), one or two may stand out as extraordinarily good. Until now, I have had one standout primary care physician, who unfortunately (for me) moved on from Mt. Sinai more than a decade ago to a different part of the state and much larger responsibilities. While I’ve seen a number of doctors in the years since his departure, none has been the standout that that doctor was … until now. I was instantly struck by how closely Dr. Schwalb’s approach to the patient matched that of my long-gone primary care physician. Maybe it’s the Mt. Sinai years that are part of both doctors’ backgrounds, or maybe that’s just coincidence. He took time, asked good (and many) follow-up questions and seemed genuinely engaged in our session. While a single hour-long appointment may seem like too little to base such a glowing review upon, I’ve seen more than my share of doctors, enough to have impressions and make an assessment pretty quickly. With any luck, I won’t have to see him for anything serious for a very long time, but I left his office confident that whenever that day arrives, I’ll be cared for by a very, very capable physician.
Best doctor I’ve ever had
Even my 95 year old mother loves him
Thorough professional and caring
Highly recommend
Dr. Schwalb is a very trusted, honest and caring physician. You may have to wait a bit but that's because he's taking time with his patients, which is extremely rare these days.
