As a business owner and Landscape Design Artist, I can’t emphasize enough how much Axten’s Nursery & Landscape has made my life easier. I'm extremely selective when it comes to Vendors I work with. Dan, his son, and the entire crew are top-notch people with even better customer service. They consistently went above and beyond for me. Not once, but multiple times.

The plant selection is outstanding, with a high-quality selection I was having trouble finding anywhere else. Their topiary selection alone is worth the trip, and the natural stone inventory is massive and catered to whatever you need for serious landscaping projects.

Pricing was extremely competitive, communication was great, and the crew truly understands how to work with contractors. Even the dump truck driver executed perfectly - managed to place both of my loads in the same truck without mixing, and hit the drop like a pro. Even mixed different blends of soil upon request! Little details like that save time, money, and headaches, and they get it.

I genuinely appreciate companies that take pride in what they do, and Axten’s exceeded every expectation. Great people, great products, and a business you want to root for. Can’t thank them enough. Excited to continue working with them in 2026.

Excellent nursery in the South NJ area, especially if you need a tree for your landscape. The selection is unbeatable (they have young and mature trees), and the prices are very fair. I could walk around their property and look at amazing evergreen, flowering, and ornamental trees all day. Take a trip and visit, you won't be disappointed.

As a landscape design/maintenance company we deal with a lot of nurseries and growers. Axten’s nursery is by far the best and most knowledgeable nursery out there. The communication and helpfulness is what sets Axten’s apart from the countless other nurseries in the area.

Danny and Matt are the people to go to for all nursery and landscape supplies. We are located in Philadelphia and make the trip just for their great service and selection as we just can’t find anyone like them in our area. Appreciate everything guys!

Very happy with our experience! Husband wanted a sycamore tree for our property, and a second tree of my choosing for another spot on the property. Neighbors suggested trying Axtens, and I went down during the day with my son. First, the gentleman that helped me was extremely patient, as my son was a little rambunctious, but he was able to work around that while still assisting. Secondly, the knowledge he had on the trees I was searching for, was incredible! We settled on a London Plane hybrid and he suggested a Serviceberry/Shadblow for the second tree, to fit our desire of trying to stay native. Great suggestion! Both trees look amazing and the delivery process was quick and easy. Thank you!

This place deserves 10 stars!!! I can not convey in words how thoughtful, caring and knowledgeable the folks at Axtens's are. I was fortunate to get Dan on the phone when I called (I live a good 2+ hours away). I wanted to find a nice Crepe Myrtle tree that blossoms a beautiful purple color. I wanted to give it to my sister as a memorial tree for her daughter who recently passed away (purple was her daughters favorite color). Dan not only was caring and very informative in his guidance to find the right tree, he picked one out for me when he spotted one in their yard, held onto it until I called back. When I called back (very happy that he found the perfect tree for our project) I told him when I'd be coming down to visit my sister. Since there was a chance that I'd miss him due to holiday hours, he offered to drop the tree off at my sisters for me so it would be waiting for me when I got there.
I cannot tell you how refreshing it is to work with a company/service that is not only helpful with their professional advice on what product to pick, but truly kind hearted, good people!!! I plan to come down to Axten's in the early fall to get a few trees for my own yard and hope to meet Dan in person.
