Great place to stop and grab breakfast. Good sandwiches. And great pastries.

We have always loved the Smithy but as of late they are moving away from offering a wide variety of local items/vendors and just carrying their own brand (reminds me of Whole Foods and 365). First they got rid of the pizzas they carried and now High 5 Pies which is so sad - good thing you can order direct from her. Hopefully they can find a happy medium as it was always such a staple place where I could stop in and grab a nice mix of local items.

A beautifully restored old building that is well worth a visit. Many interesting foods and special cocktail items. Fun to look around. We got the raspberry-peach pie and it was very good. Lots of frozen items as well.

This place used to have a great selection of really special products as well as the most delicious baked goods, but since the new owners took over our visits have been disappointing. We bought a $28 apple pie that an employee said was “amazing.” In fact, it was absolutely horrible. Mushy filling, no flavor, with a soggy crust. It had to be thrown out. Their cafe across the street has gone downhill, too. These were great businesses under former owners. Why change what isn’t broken?
