First off, I’m tough to please and have high standards. I have been going to this office for cleanings for a couple of years and their hygienist is beyond caring, gentle and proficient. The front desk staff similarly is thoughtful, with excellent attention to detail. A few weeks ago i had to have slightly more extensive work done and about a week or two later was still feeling some discomfort. They gave me a prompt recheck appointment, calmed my nerves, rectified the issue quickly and all without any extra charge. The dentist was beyond gentle and kind and explained everything to me in detail. I definitely felt comforted and cared for. Highly recommend this office.

I cannot say enough good things about Doctor Kim and his staff! I went to him in an emergency as I had lost a crown that I was hoping to have fixed. I was upset to find out that I needed to have the tooth removed, but he explained his plan to me and why it was necessary and I felt comfortable with it. They scheduled me right away for the procedure and it went smoothly. I am so glad I found him because he made it all so easy and I trust him completely. For someone who avoided the dentist for years, it says alot that I am comfortable walking in his office and truly do not mind going to the dentist anymore!

Excellent dentist. He is gentle, engaging, and explains procedures and diagnosis in great detail. I had a large abscess in a tooth with a previous root canal, and after recommending extraction, the procedure went smoothly and fairly quickly, considering that the tooth was crowned, had a post and the roots were splayed outward, plus the aforementioned abscess, which was both large and severe. I never felt any pain, and was comfortable throughout. Dr. Kim attended the Columbia School of Dental Medicine, and also John’s-Hopkins in Baltimore. When it comes to dentistry, training is very important, you can’t see what they are doing in there, so a high skill level is something you want to feel confident of, and the best dental schools will boot anyone who is subpar. I previously went to Dr. Mansperger in Beacon, who was also excellent, but he retired and after two years of giving his replacement a try, I found her style wanting. She seemed to resent being questioned and gave rather terse answers instead of explaining things in detail. She also referred me to a dental surgeon a good 40 minutes away, which was more than a bit annoying, considering that this area is chock full of dental surgeons. She couldn’t refer me to anyone else. Thank goodness I found Dr. Kim, through a friend and after much research online. He not only does regular dentistry but specializes in implants and cosmetic work as well. He and his kind, helpful staff were wonderful and I highly recommend them. PS: His office is also beautiful, modern and comfortable; not that that is a big deal, but it definitely sets a tone when you walk in.

Better late than never. I forgot to post this review when I moved out of NY. I've been to many Dentists in my lifetime, but this office is the best! Dr Kim is highly skilled and explains everything in detail. The staff are always friendly and I never had a problem getting scheduled and they were always great about squeezing us in for dental emergencies. My wife and I were patients here for quite some time and they will be missed. I highly recommend this great facility!
