Dr. Kseniya Kobets, MD

Dr. Kobets and her staff are a five star dermatology practice. The front and check out desks are efficient...they will call if you are on an appointment waiting list. Staffers in the examining room are friendly and welcoming. Dr Kobets is extremely knowledgeable and thorough in her practice. She had treated me this year with the Halo dual hybrid fractional laser for skin irregularities on my face. It addressed some fine lines, and texture issues. Being fair and after years in the sun I had developed actinic keratosis some of which had developed into squamous cells cancer. I had them removed early but the biopsies years back left little scars. I think the Halo's ablative and non-ablative laser worked well in that area. Dr Kobets is very skilled with new lasers and techniques. I felt I was well cared for beginning to end.

Dr. Kobets is outstanding! She’s incredibly knowledgeable, thorough, and genuinely thoughtful in her approach. She really listens, takes her time, and makes sure you feel completely at ease. Her explanations are clear, and her care never feels rushed. The environment is welcoming and well-organized, but it’s Dr. Korbets herself who makes the experience exceptional. She delivers expertise with a personal touch.

I can’t say enough wonderful things about Dr Kobets and the entire team at Montefiore’s Taxter location! I’ve been seeing her for my rosacea, BBL for acne, and micro-needling. My skin has completely transformed - my redness is under control and the laser treatments and micro-needling have made such a difference in my confidence.

I’ve been with Dr. Kobets for 5 years and she completely transformed my skin journey. When I first came to her I was struggling with cystic acne. She focused on healing my skin from the outside first with chemical peels and acne injections before eventually starting me on Accutane. I was nervous at first because we all hear the horror stories, but now I realize most of them are just myths. She guided me through every step and made the process so much easier than I expected.

After finishing Accutane my skin flourished even more. We went back to chemical peels and added laser treatments to maintain my results. I’ve done both BBL laser and Accure with her and I can honestly say she’s incredibly knowledgeable, especially when it comes to treating different skin tones safely and effectively.

I constantly get compliments on my skin now and it always makes me smile knowing how far it’s come. I can’t recommend her enough.
