Every flavor felt intentional, as if the chef created a tiny narrative on the plate — simple ingredients used with surprising elegance.
Hmmm what can I say? Although the people were nice enough, service was extremely slow and they forgot one of our orders so we had to remind them which is ok it happens but then the pina Coladas were warm even with the ice in them and never got cold. The rice was dry and had no flavor, the permit was actually good and the beans were beans (my boyfriend had some undercooked beans and possible undercooked rice because it was hard). The tostenes were also just ok. I don't think I will be going back here.
If you want some good ol' Dominican food without breaking the bank, this is the spot. I had chicharron de pollo. My hubby had the roasted chicken with rice and beans and it was also good. The only reason I put 4 for atmosphere is because the place looked kinda bare. They could improve the atmosphere a little with some minimal decore like something on their tables or wall decor. Maybe it looks better at night.
