I visited Flanagan’s Pub about three weeks ago with a group of five, and once again it delivered a great night out. We went primarily for food, not drinks, and ordered a mix of burgers, fries, wings, and a couple of beverages. The food was above average — consistently prepared well, flavorful, and aligned with what I’ve come to expect from this location. They’ve maintained a reliable standard, and it shows.
The atmosphere is what sets Flanagan’s apart. During our visit, they had live band entertainment, which added a lot of energy to the evening without being overwhelming. It’s a fun environment that works well whether you’re there for a casual dinner or a night out with friends. Service was smooth, the staff was attentive, and the overall experience felt well-managed from start to finish.
Pricing runs slightly higher than some other local spots, but the cost is justified by the atmosphere, entertainment, and the overall quality of the experience. You’re not just paying for the meal — you’re paying for a complete night out, and in that context, it’s very reasonable.
I don’t frequent bars often, but Flanagan’s Pub is one of the few I return to occasionally because it strikes the right balance: consistently good food, lively entertainment, and a welcoming environment. If you're looking for a place that offers more than just standard bar fare, this is a great option.
Love this place! We recently relocated back to LI from NC . We were regular Brunos customers so we were happy to see Flanagans is now here. Great friendly staff and the chef is amazing.
We are happy to see that Mary from our Brunos days is still there. She's the best !
Came on a Wednesday night, which happened to be Irish knight. So I got the shepherd's pie and Guinness special.. excellent.
4.5 stars is right. We sat on the street at the curbside tables loved it out there but the traffic can be very loud with semi 🚛 trucks passing and loud 📢 cars etc. Other than that. It's a great place. We had some of the sandwiches . I had the French dip and roasted potatoes. Yum!! It was great! We also had the oysters app. Very good but not the best I have had. Prices are fair and the portions are as well.
