Fortress Bikes

The owner was incredibly kind and helpful: we came in to rent something and were intrigued by the tandem bike but didn’t know if we could do it or if we should pick something we’d used before. He let us try out the tandem bike and showed us how to use it in the parking lot before making a decision. Considering neither of us has even ridden a one person bike recently, without his help and encouragement I’m not sure we could have done it, which would have been a shame because riding the tandem bike was so incredibly fun. We’re still talking about it days later.

We had such a great experience with this bike rental! The staff were friendly, honest, and made the whole process super easy. They have a big selection of bikes and child hookups, so it was perfect for our family. The trail nearby is absolutely beautiful and made for an amazing ride. Highly recommend to anyone looking for quality service and a fun day outdoors!

GREAT TRAIL AND BIKES. Great place to rent bikes. We rented 3 ebikes for 2 hours. The trails front and back was told that it could take 45 minutes but we took the time. Overall great owner and shop. The Trail Scenery is great to admire when we went. Even on a hot day it was cooled from the trees.

I had the best afternoon today renting a bike from Fortress Bikes. The owner was very accommodating, knowledgeable, and friendly. He knew the right bike for me to ride and made sure I was comfortable riding on the trails. The scenery was beautiful biking at Hurleyville Trails. I definitely will be back to rent snow shoes in the wintertime and biking in all the seasons. It was a great day trip to take the family and enjoy nature.

Bike was kinda working well and Mr bike guy was nice. The trails were nice and smooth with gorgeous views. Finished the 3 mile track in just an hour, but the bike rental minimum is two hours. The price is not very high for a rental which works. I recommend this place!
