They have outdoor couches that are comfortable and the most beautiful view. The best part is they have REAL NEWSPAPERS on a wooden rack right there for you to read while you sit and chat. This was a wonderful place to hang out.

Idk what these reviews are about. They have a wide selection of draft beers and cans. But thise fries. The truffle parm fries. They were SO GOOD.
These are thick cut fries, very crisp, hot, flavorful, wow. Perfect pairing with a beer and saturdays daytime they have a DJ. They have ample seating and shaded areas to sit and enjoy, at the actual waterfront.
Prices are fair. Beer and fries was $22 and for the quality, views, and location it is very fair price!
    Very enjoyable 5 stars

While FRANK OTTOMANELLI’s in Long Island City boasts a solid reputation overall, my recent experience left me feeling somewhat underwhelmed. The food, while not bad, certainly didn't live up to the prices being charged. I opted for a burger, which was decent but lacked any real standout flavors or exceptional quality that would justify the cost. The Belgian fries, a signature item, were similarly average – not particularly crispy or memorable.
Looking at other three-star reviews, a common thread seems to be this discrepancy between price and the perceived quality of the food. Several reviewers mentioned that while the ingredients seemed fresh enough, the execution was uninspired, and the portions didn't quite match the higher-end pricing. The ambiance was generally considered pleasant, and the service was adequate, but these aspects couldn't fully compensate for the middling food that felt overpriced for what it was. Ultimately, FRANK OTTOMANELLI’s offers a satisfactory but not exceptional dining experience that could benefit from either a reduction in price or a noticeable improvement in the food's quality and flavor profiles to truly justify its current cost.

I stumbled upon this place right after getting off the ferry, and it was fantastic. I enjoyed the atmosphere and the views. The burger, fries, and ice cream were all amazing. There's plenty of seating and incredible views, and it's close to the park.
