This was my first visit with Dr. Reina as a new patient, and I was very impressed. She was thorough and attentive in reviewing my medical history, taking the time to listen and address my concerns. She was patient, empathetic, and made me feel truly cared for. Dr. Reina treats you like a person, not just another patient, which is something I genuinely appreciate.
Dr Reina took me on time, and spent a lot of time with me to understand my health history. She also identified a heart murmur and hernia during my first visit.
Dr. Reina is wonderful! A few months ago, I accompanied my sister to a sick visit and was so impressed by how thorough, kind, and attentive she was—she was actually the first to recognize that my sister had mono. After such a great experience, I decided to book my own appointment and was equally pleased. She remembered me, asked how my sister was doing, and really took her time listening to my history and concerns. I hesitated to post because she already has a long wait time, but if you’re looking for a kind and caring PCP, I highly recommend Dr. Reina!
Dr. Reina was very kind and patiently inquired about my concerns. Since this was my first visit with her, she asked lots of questions and asked me what brought me to her and I expressed that I need a Primary Care Doctor. Because my situation is complicated, she seemed to understand my concerns. I felt she was somewhat thorough and engaged. I will update somewhere down the line as I get to know her.

Dr Reina was beyond excellent. She asked pertinent questions and took her time with me. She was thorough and compassionate and did not rush me. This is important to me because my previous health care was not good. I am highly impressed with Stoney Brook hospital, staff and the medical team. This was my 2nd experience here and Dr Reina put me at ease and calmed my anxiety. I am hopeful that I will receive the medical help that my body needs. Thank you Dr Reina for an excellent visit and taking your time with me.
