I guess great products but so disappointed in warranty/repair service. My GT220s sat in their case for a couple of years and when I went to use them, the enclosure on both had separated. Grado's solution? I can purchase replacements.
The cord on my 10-15 year-old SR325 headphones needed replacement (a left channel wire sometimes disconnected at the Y junction). Sent them Grado for cord replacement and driver service. Happy to report that the phones have never sounded better. Great product, good people, and prompt return.
I contacted Grado to ask about my current phono cartridge. I wanted to recognize a great program Grado Support introduced me to.
They have an exchange program that allows you to trade in your old wood cartridge and buy a new, current version cartridge at a substantial discount. They even allow you to move up to a different wood cartridge at discounted prices if you would like to.
That is such a nice surprise and good to know. Of course I took advantage of the program.
Grado Labs, a family owned, American company that has been producing the finest audio products since 1953. Founded by Audio Hall of Famer Joseph Grado, with his brother John.
I have my new cartridge and could not be happier.
