Would be better if tables were bigger and less noise! Hard to talk and reservations don’t accommodate the booths. Fish was very fresh!

Very good seafood and steaks here. I liked the bar area very much. It has a warm and inviting feel that makes you want to sit and enjoy the ambiance. I attended a party and ate in one of the private rooms. The staff is super nice and provided great service.

Unpretentious family restaurant with hearty entrees including seafood. Both the casual patio and the old-school interior, seemingly unchanged since the restaurant’s 1931 opening (“except for the booths being replaced”, said Ernie, son of Gus himself), are wonderful spaces to share a meal in.

Two members of the managing family kindly introduced themselves and made sure we had an enjoyable meal. The kaiser rolls, while bizzare outside of a delicatessen context, provide a warm and enjoyable start to the meal.

Cozy place to share a drink and great seafood, served in old Westchester style. Staff is very friendly. When you're tired of chains, this is the nice kind of local spot you'll want to frequent with friends.
