The best tasting soft serve icecream we ever had. After several visits this season, we now skip dessert at dinner and make a trip over to GWL Ice Cream Shack with our friends and family for great service and ice cream. Milkshakes and Sundaes are also amazing!
Ice cream was delicious. Its a cash only place,so be prepared.
Cute place right by Emerald Point for ice cream after dinner. Cornhole, volleyball, picnic tables in back. No bathrooms that I could see. Good especially if the "other place up the hill" is just too long of a wait.
First and foremost...the ice cream is great. Flavorful and worth the wait.
Second...the wait.
I was maybe 4th or 5th in line. I was in line for over 20 minutes. The orders in front of me were not complex. The employees were nice and welcoming but the pace at which they were working was a little frustrating. I'm not expecting back breaking labor in an ice cream shop but when there's a long live almost to the road and you have two employees wiping down appliances and tidying up as they finish each order...not a recipe for fast service. I'm sure it's real clean in there though which is a positive.
