I first want to say that the dental care itself was excellent - Dr. Emily Halpern removed two of my wisdom teeth when I came in complaining of pain. I was referred to her by my regular dentist because it was an emergency. She was helpful, quick and even checked in the next day to see how I was feeling. I was given a bill the day of and paid it on a credit card. However, nearly 4 months after the extraction, I received a call from the office manager about an unpaid bill. I had never received another bill and was extremely confused because I had no idea I owed them anything. The person I spoke to was incredibly rude and insisted I'd been sent bills, but as it turns out they had the wrong address and had never contacted me outside of that. She was condescending, dismissive and outright hostile. Would not recommend.
Excellent bed side manner, I started having an anxiety attack while Dr. Emily Halpbern was pulling my wisdom tooth. Both her and her assistant were very helpful in calming me down. They even changed the music to my favorite band. Thank you so much! You were all wonderful! - Thomas S
I had an awesome experience. From the moment I stepped into Dr. Halpern’s office I felt comfortable. The staff did their best to make sure I felt comfortable before and after my wisdom teeth procedure. Dr. Emily Halpern even called the day after to follow up and make sure I was doing well. Highly recommend.
I have had surgical work by Dr. Halpern several times over the past years, and I have nothing but praise for the quality of his work, the behind-the-scenes consultations between him and my regular dentist, and the professionalism of the clinical staff assistants. The office management seems quite acceptable, although the fees clearly reflect today's premium for really professional dental care, including the plentiful office staff to keep things going smoothly.
