The pulled pork is the best in the zip code as far as I know. And it goes so well with the spicy fries.
Loved loved loved the food! The best pulled pork barbecue sandwhich I've ever had in my life! The portions were amazing for the price and I would most def. Recommend!
Best BBQ in all of Long Island!
How and what to eat Hickory’s: Definitely order something BBQ, or smoked, my favorite is the grilled chicken because it’s consecutively the juiciest grilled chicken I’ve ever eaten in my life, nothing else matches its level. The fries are all handmade from fresh potatoes on site make your car smell like Heaven. I recommend take-out, and bringing your food to Sunset Park to eat by the water. 10/10 experience every time. Will always go back!

Looking to try something new and decided on bbq without having to travel to the Bronx. The platters are good for two people so I ordered a combination of platters to feed 6 adults, which allowed me to sample the chicken, pulled pork, and ribs. I also ordered sides of chicken wings, sweet potato fries, and zucchini fries with cucumber dip. Two of the platters came with fries and cole slaw. I forgot which. One platter came with corn bread, which was not my favorite. The sweet potato fries were mediocre. Maybe better for dine-in option. The French fries were good and thick. The zucchini fries had a lot of breading for my taste but the cucumber dip was good. I used it for the chicken wings as well. The wings were dry by the time I got to eat them though. The ribs were great! Probably the best bbq meat. The 1/2 chicken was good. Wasn’t dried out. The pulled pork was good too. Will definitely try the fish taco next time.
