This was my childhood place. Having been back almost 15 years later and being able to enjoy the same quality food was a privilege. Authentic delicious food, impeccable customer service, I cant wait to be back eventho I'm in NJ now

I love coming here with my mom who lives close by in PW. Her favorite dish is the appetizer, La Foresta. I love the linguine white clam sauce. We also share a pizzetta. We have tried so many of their dishes, all impeccable. What we truly love about DiMaggio’s is Eddy and the staff. They make you feel so welcome. Eddy even puts on music from my mom’s favorite Italian singer when we dine there. He is a gem of a man and this restaurant is a must try when in the area.

Top notch authentic Italian dishes. Quality of the food is excellent. Hot appetizer is delicious. All the veal entrees are great. Not inexpensive but worth it. Escarole and white bean soup is fantastic as is the bull’s eye pasta.

In town visiting relatives and it was great being back In NY to enjoy Italian food. Lovely local spot full of hustle and bustle. I recommend the front dining room over the back. We sampled the eggplant parm which was delicious. Nicely stacked up and not mushy. The marinara on point. Had a nice sweetness to it. The gnocchi was outstanding. Excellent texture with a creamy softness to it. We chose to have it pairs with vodka sauce. The bread was served warm with butter. My glass of red was perfectly matched to our food. Thank you!

This restaurant was by far the BEST Italian food I have had in NYC and Long Island. The portions were perfect, the taste was delicious, the timing of the food coming out amazing. From start to finish the experience we had was spot on perfect. The wait staff and the owner were also very nice. We will definitely be coming back to DiMaggio's.
