Highland Park is beautiful and peaceful, a green escape in the middle of East New York. The walking trails are scenic, and the playground is perfect for kids. However, some areas near the sports fields had litter and overgrown grass, which detracts from the experience.
As a local who visits parks regularly, small improvements in maintenance would make Highland Park a true neighborhood gem.
It was my first time walking the footpaths over the interior of the reservoirs. Beautiful, tranquil, a photographers
I took a walk in the park near Jackie Robinson Parkway in Brooklyn over the weekend. It’s a very peaceful and clean place. Lots of greenery, well-kept paths, and hardly any trash. There weren’t many people, so it was easy to relax and enjoy the walk. You can tell the area is well maintained. A great spot to get some fresh air and clear your head.
Took a bike ride up there from Brownsville. I was satisfied with this beautiful place. Its a nice place to stroll, ride your bike and run.
I was surprised to see a lot of green at the park. It offers an escape from urban life.
I heavily recommend this park whenever you're near the Cypress Hills/East NY area.
