SUPER COOL!!!! when I went they were more ‘dripping water’ caves than ‘ice’ caves, but like I would go again . such a fun hike!!!!!!! so peaceful, so secluded from the cray cray world. love this place.

Next to Sam’s Point, there are the amazing Ice Caves. It’s a short walk, but very interesting – cold air, rocks, and narrow paths. If you like nature and want to see something different, you should go. It’s a great spot to relax and enjoy something special.

What a beautiful hike to the most amazing ice caves you will see !! This was such an amazing experience to get to hike and go in the caves , it was about 5 miles from start to finish , going in the caves was so cool you feel the cold air rushing through the cave walls you can take amazing pictures and walk through this unbelievable Cave the walking path is very clean and well constructed. It is a very safe path to walk, and there are some lights in the cave so you are not completely in the dark. I highly recommend you coming here and walking through the caves.!!

This was a great experience, but farther from the parking lot than I thought. We had all of our kids with us, ranging from 4 to 13 years old. They all had fun at the caves, but didn't like the trail getting to and from there because it took too long and was steep. Also, on weekends, you need to pay and reserve parking on-line ahead of time.

This is an awesome hike! Tough, but awesome. Some of the ascents and declines are VERY steep. Passages get extremely narrow. Even in 90 degree heat, there were spots of ice, so if you're going in colder weather, be prepared. Definitely wear proper footwear. It was a challenge for me, as I'm afraid of heights, but the sense of accomplishment and view are well worth it!
