My friend and I stopped by for a quiet afternoon catch-up and to finish some work, drawn in by its calm atmosphere and old-world charm. The moment we entered, the scent of freshly roasted beans mingled with faint notes of wood and aged paper—a comforting aroma that immediately slowed the pace of the day.

We ordered from their Single Origin Coffee Selections, specifically the Ethiopia Bishan Fugu Natural—a beautifully aromatic pour-over with delicate hints of raspberry, red grape, and hibiscus. It’s worth noting that their pour-overs are served hot only, as they don’t offer them iced, but the depth and warmth of the flavor easily made up for it. Alongside that, I had a flat white, perfectly textured and well-balanced, smooth without losing its coffee-forward clarity.

The interior of the High Line Hotel is nothing short of captivating—dimly lit, with antique wood, aged leather seating, and the quiet hum of guests reading, typing, or conversing softly. It’s one of those rare spaces in Chelsea that feels almost hidden from the city—refined, timeless, and grounding. The outdoor courtyard, lined with ivy and shaded by trees, adds another layer of serenity for those looking to work or linger a little longer.

While it does get busy, especially during peak hours, the setting never loses its sense of calm. The baristas were kind and attentive; though service was minimal, it felt genuine. Toward the end, they surprised us with complimentary sweets—a thoughtful touch that closed the visit on a warm note.

This coffee shop is a true hidden gem, tucked away in the High Line Hotel. It’s the perfect place to escape the city's hustle and bustle and find some peace and quiet, with plenty of seating both in the front and back of the hotel. Great place to read and get some work done

The cappuccino was worth every penny. The beautiful latte art and the serene outdoor space will easily make us regulars. I’d give the croissants a pass

A lovely spot located in the lobby of the iconic High Line Hotel. I tried one of their signature coffees and really enjoyed it. Both the garden area and the lobby have a beautiful atmosphere that makes it a great place to relax!
