Izumi Sushi and Hibachi Steak house

A great spot, especially for groups. The location is convenient, and we’ve never had an issue getting a table, even with a large party (though I’d still recommend making a reservation just to be safe).

The hibachi chefs are fantastic. Friendly, engaging, and they really make the experience fun for everyone at the table.

Unfortunately, our experience with our server fell short. She was noticeably rude, rolled her eyes when we asked for simple things like drinks or extra cups, and overall seemed annoyed by basic requests. My father even gave her an additional $20 tip separately, and she didn’t acknowledge it at all. Not even a thank you, which was disappointing...

I’d absolutely come back for the food, atmosphere, and chefs, but I hope management addresses the service side so it matches the rest of the experience.

Beautiful restaurant... truly unexpected. My party had hibachi which looked delicious, but I went with the TriColor Sashimi. Very pretty presentation.

Visiting from England, we were taken to this place and it delivered beyond what we were expecting. Staff were all welcoming, friendly and very helpful (firt time we had dined Japanese). The food was stunning - we had red snapper, a food we are familiar with, and this was up there with the best. Sitting around a cooking station we watched our food being prepared and the guy cooking was so entertaining - BRILLIANT. Per person the cost was around 27 dollars, including drinks, and this was an experience not just a meal out - SUPER VALUE.

Amazing food great service. We love coming for the lunch specials generous portions and great flavor. The food is always cooked in front of you and the chefs do a cute show. We’ve been coming here For 9 years. Always a hit.I bought 4 friends from brooklyn and they loved it. We will be back. Thanks Izumi.

We liked the sushi! Hibachi was decent. Salmon had good flavor and the steak was tender. Fried rice was not our favorite.
