Not bad, not great either. I'd say it's average, run of the mill for Dutchess County. Friendly staff, wasn't busy at all when we stopped in for lunch; I'd give it another try if the opportunity arose.
Their wings are the size of nuggets regardless if you get bone-in or bonless. One was literally the size of a thumb, and all arrived cold despite only living five minutes away (not blaming the delivery driver at all). Just an underwhelming experience
Great service, food is always ready on time and quite good. Prices, regular promos and points club are excellent. It's nice when a place is consistently good and local. It's exactly what a local pizza place should be.
My first time getting anything from Joe’s!
I ordered through Door Dash from Joe Christiano’s on a Friday @ close to 4 pm. My food arrived right around 5, so a great team effort between the restaurant and Door Dash!
I ordered a Bacon, Chicken, Ranch Pizza. I also ordered a grilled chicken wrap as some fried cheese raviolis.
Pizza was a good size for the price and was cooked well. I would have preferred it cooked a little longer so the cheese is stretching and would have liked a neater distribution of the chicken and toppings. Seems to me it was a bit of a rush job with almost all the chicken in the center. Crust was soft enough to eat easily which was refreshing and the slice itself was thin. Personally, I could easily eat 3 slices at 5,10” & 200 pounds!
The grilled chicken wrap was the star of the show. I could see, smell and taste how fresh it was and it was layered well with the ingredients. This dish got the most value for the portion vs cost! Tasted great and was better than many others I had from different restaurants. This came with fries but they were extremely salty.
Lastly, and least impressive was the fried cheese raviolis. They didn’t taste bad, I just didn’t taste much. The edges were really tough to almost hard and they were very greasy. These came with Marinara sauce which was standard as far as portion and taste. Not my favorite thing to eat and probably wouldn’t order it again.
As of today, the current review rating is @ 4.4 and I believe that is a perfect rating for this restaurant! If they pay more attention to some of the small details in the food I can see the ratings move higher!
Overall, prices are competitive, if not better than comparable restaurants and the quality is there! I’d recommend
So good!! Their cheese pizza remind me of some of the best spots I've tried down in Queens! Never trying another pizzeria again! BBQ wings were a little over done and skinny but they were still so good. Definitely getting those again as well. We got the large cheese pizza and it was on the smaller end of usual pie sizes. However, the slices were thicker than usual spots so it all evened out.
