Beautiful setup and views with a nice quiet atmosphere thay works well for focusing on work. Will definitely be visiting again.
An absolutely stunning library with gorgeous lake views! It is beautiful inside and very colorful. Tons of programs that appeal to people of all ages. Their book barn is one of the best that the MHLS has to offer with tons of staff to help you and some great books for sale!
We held our Hudson Valley Division of the NMRA (National Model Railroad Association) meeting in their main meeting room. Outstanding location for meetings. Their staff was very friendly and insured we had everything we needed for a successful meeting.
I have been coming to Mahopac Public Library for years, and I must say it is truly exceptional. The staff is incredibly helpful, and the library boasts an extensive collection with wide variety. The children's book selection is the largest in the Mid-Hudson Library system, offering a wide array of options. The availability of resources such as computers, DVD/audio books, printers, and quiet/study rooms adds immense value to the overall experience. Additionally, the "Book Barn" in the basement is a hidden gem, offering high-quality books and media at affordable prices most for about $1.00 (Check website for hours of operation). I would like to thank all the staff and curators at Mahopac Public Library is a wonderful resource for our community.
