Marino’s Pizza House

Visited while in town. Pizza was ok. Good enough to
return the following day. Not the best I’ve had but good enough. The calzone I liked better than the pizza. Overall, if I’m nearby I’ll visit again

Hi my name is Stephanie and I just wanted to write a quick review to let others know how very impressed I was of Marino's Pizza House on Forest Avenue. I came here thinking it was J&B Pizzeria, but another customer told me that they had closed, so I decided to give this place a try, and I am so glad that I did!
The service was amazing. I tried to sit away from the door, as there was a breeze coming in, and the whole restaurant was a lot smaller than the original place. The food was outstanding, and I really enjoyed the mozzarella sticks that I had and their spaghetti and meatballs dish, which made quite a few meals because I had food leftover. It came with a basket of bread and marinara sauce for the mozzarella sticks, which they wrapped for me to take home. I had a great meal here and received truly wonderful service, and I will definitely be back!

Yesss they're Mexican owners, don't let the accent on the other side fool you, Italy has a natural born Mexican representing 100% The best grilled and chicken cutlet hot heros I've ever had, hands down!! Pizza bread is what I'm giving five stars for most. Overall fresh taste, Clean place, great environment. And they're really nice and friendly people I've welcomed to the neighborhood.

Absolutely love this place! The pizza is always delicious, but what really keeps me coming back is their lentil soup — it’s honestly the best I’ve ever had, and I say that as someone who makes a pretty great version myself! I come here at least twice a week for lunch since it’s just 5 minutes from my office. The staff is always warm, welcoming, and hospitable. Highly recommended to anyone in the area — whether you're craving pizza or something comforting like their amazing soup!

This used to be another pizzeria that I would visit and their food was very good. When I saw that they closed a few months ago, I was disappointed but when I passed there today, I saw there was a new pizzeria opened in its’ place. They just opened eight days ago and they have new management, new staff, and the entire inside is redone.
Usually, I don’t write reviews, but I had to stop and let everyone who may be considering this pizzeria know, that their food is absolutely delicious!
I was born and raised in Staten Island and my favorite pizzeria was always on Forest Avenue near Burger King (you know which one) but now I have a new favorite pizzeria!
This place is great and the staff is very friendly, the inside is bright and clean, and they have many varieties of different specialty pizzas. I brought a menu home with me and they have great selections.
Whenever I look at reviews for restaurants, I always look to see if they have a menu because sometimes their website isn’t updated…so I took a few pictures of the menu I brought home to help anyone who may be reading this review.
I’m very happy I stopped there today and I will definitely be returning!
