The items in this Marshalls feel a bit crowded, and it would be better if things were more clearly organized by category.
One of the worst homegoods selections ive seen locally on island. Marshalls side is cramped and messy also but sometimes has good finds. Its not one of the high end stores like found in Manhasset or Greenvale or Port Washington.
Good store, bad employees. Cashiers are so rude and have no training on how to handle situations. I asked a question and the young lady and her cashier friend both started laughing making fun of my question. I asked if there were any sales for black Friday, a simple no would have been enough. No need for ridicule.
Today my mom went to pay and had fraud in her card so it was blocked. The cashiers started gathering and whispering (about 6 were standing there pointing and speaking in their language), making my mom feel like she was shop lifting. They kept trying to rush her while she was on the phone trying to fix the situation. This is terrible customer service. I had a similar situations at different store and it was handled way differently, giving me the grace, time and space to fix my situation. In contrast, here the cashier kept asking my mom if she was sure she had money. How rude. They only spoke to add stress and humiliation to an already tough situation.
Marshall's please train your staff better. The young cashiers are mean and rude.
Always a pleasure to shop there. Homegoods has these butter cookies called “la mere poulard palets de Bretagne”, they are a delightful treat.
