the parking is around the back. You don’t pull into where the directions tell you too (this is just a circular driveway. If you are coming from west you go past the mill pond house (on your right), and you make your next right turn. You’ll see a huge parking lot on your right and that’s when you’ll turn in

Went to the St. James Model Railroad Club open house over the weekend, this is definitely a not to miss event. Although the location is quite small, it is a fun part of the day to spend watching the various types of model railroad cars traverse through the detailed layout of real and imagined settings. There are so many little scenes that you could really lose yourself in imagination. For a $2 donation, you could view all their hard work to your heart's content. Their next open house is supposed to be in November 2024.

Charm of historical estate and grounds was coupled with nice exhibition of local artists. Parking lot is in the rear (see instructions on gallery’s web site).

Beautiful old pre-Civil War home turned into a modern day gallery. Beautiful place on Long Island.

A quaint old long island home turned into a beautiful gallery that is washed in natural light on the inside. Well worth a visit. Parking in the back the way to go. Hidden entrance on the side street.
