I believe Amanda is passionate and probably good at delivering babies she is very unprofessional, she showed up late several times as well as showing up reeking of marijuana, being that it was several weeks before I was birthing I put it aside and didn't want to acknowledge it and it created an uncomfortable birthing environment- it actually created a traumatic birth. Then several appointments she didn't have a car and I had to deliver her pool back. She yelled at me when I was trying to establish breast feeding as well as not even coming to see the baby or inviting me to bring the baby. It was an unpleasant birthing environment experience

Amanda practices midwifery with wisdom and passion, and she deeply cares about her clients. I feel blessed to receive her guidance and companionship throughout pregnancy, birth and postpartum. Facing unforeseen events, when I felt unsure, she stayed focused on what’s best for me and baby, patiently reasoned with me, and supported me to be confident and courageous. Her firm yet flexible support helped me to be the best version of myself in one of the most important moments of my life. I highly recommend her.

I had an incredible experience with Amanda and I’m so grateful to have had her support throughout my pregnancy and birth. I met her around 5–6 months and from that first meeting, I knew we were meant to meet. Choosing the natural way with her guidance rather than the traditional health system was exactly what I wanted.

Her deep knowledge of homebirth truly shone through—she not only always kept it real but also catered to my needs every step of the way. She was flexible and extremely understanding. During labor, her encouraging voice provided the perfect support as I experienced contractions. Her massages during labor were lifesaving, easing the intensity of each contraction and helping me to stay grounded and focused.

Beyond the delivery Amanda’s support continued. Not only did she assist me with bringing my baby earthside but she handled all the necessary paperwork, ensuring I had access to the resources I needed. Even now, four months postpartum if and when I need her, I can still reach out and she shows up—always ready to help.

This being my first baby you can imagine how many emotions were felt. However doubt or fear was never one of them. If I ever have another baby, I will undoubtedly call her again. I don’t just see her as a healthcare provider—I consider her part of my tribe. I highly recommend her services to any expectant parent seeking compassionate, knowledgeable, and authentic care.

The best and divine experience I have had bringing my baby girl into this world. Having Amanda MonDésir as a midwife, and divine guide on my journey truly was a blessing! She is wise beyond the stars, loving, supportive, and very transparent. Best decision I made. I highly recommend her services!

THE BEST DECISION EVER: Where do I begin, let’s start off with the fact that I was told I would have to do a 2nd cesarean section by Doctors just to reassure a successful delivery as my age and being a mom whom has already received a c-section during childbirth played a factor.That didn’t sit well with me knowing I wanted to go as natural as possible with this pregnancy but off the back I was being pushed to do a repeat c-section by highly trained medical Doctors. That prompted me to seek a midwife and not just any midwife but one that was on the same page as me and listened to my concerns but also was extremely transparent on the pros and cons of every scenario I mentioned to her or was mentioned to me. I swear after my initial intake and appointment with Amanda I knew she was the One for the job!!! Amanda, was very attentive to me and she explained everything to me throughly, I had some issues but let me tell you she got my mind&body right to do what it was made to do. Every question or concern she addressed, changed my diet and had me on an exercise regimen which was easy enough for me to do even after 37weeks. During my labor she was AMAZING, this labor I will truly never forget. Everything she said was gonna and when it was gonna happen…Happened!!! She was like an birthing Angel. She was so gentle,caring,compassionate,knowledgeable and confident that we got this and it will be ok. Amanda was right, everything was more than ok it was fantastic it was an experience that I will never forget and as a mom of 3 and this my only natural water birth I honestly think more woman need to seek out prenatal and delivery care with a Midwife. My daughter was born healthy eyes wide open and smiling into the world. She also made sure my newborn latched onto my breast for her very first feeding from the breast which I’m overly proud that I was given the opportunity to work with Amanda she was the Best!!!My care during pregnancy ,labor and aftercare were all top tier 10 out of 10. This pregnancy and delivery will never be forgotten and I wish all child bearing woman get to experience childbirth the way I did. Thank you Amanda MonDesir Midwifery💜
