Muhsin's Halal Food

The food and price are unmatched. For ONLY 8 dollars I got lamb over rice AND the meal included a free soda! The halal carts around my neighborhood stopped the free soda and hiked up the prices YEARS AGO. I HIGHLY recommend the place! Also, the man working the halal cart has a nice flirtatious charm to him! Tip the man!

I got lamb over rice with white and hot, extra hot. With just the meat and the rice. I noticed that their hot sauce taste and looks different compared to other carts (more spicier and has a darker red appearance). Their sauce also mixes more evenly so after mixing it all, each bite has such flavorful sauce and meat. The lamb was tender AS PER USUAL. The worker was also really kind and I genuinely hope they’re okay working in this heat. The total was $8 and comes with a free soda, this is an absolute steal. (Not that the weight of the food accounts for anything considering I only got meat and rice but it was a total of 1.4 pounds).

Delicious halal food. Got the chicken over rice with a drink for $8. Asked for extra white sauce and they were VERY generous with it. Great truck.

Love this cart on the corner of the Taco Bell on Utopia. One of the few carts that have kofta. Most of the carts in Flushing and Manhattan don't have it anymore. Kofta is like a ground meat sausage, no casing, cooked on a skewer for good char. They have right amount of spice but not burn your mouth. Add more hot sauce if you prefer spicier. Try ordering it if you never tried. You can ask to add a pita on top and they don't charge you extra. The dude working always cool with me unlike a couple of the other reviews. Took off a star because the rice is mediocre, maybe a little too much water in cooking. The cart on Bell has better rice but the tray is like half as deep as here.
They usually open late till 3 or 4am. Be sure to tip!
