We recommend this restaurant for authentic Indian dishes, this is run by a first time restaurateur and does not employ the usual short cuts which other restaurants follow. The usual batch processed taste which you find in other restaurants is not evident in any of their dishes. This year we attended the "Onam Sadhya" which exceeded our expectations. There were around 30 dishes and the owner / staff handled the crowd in a very professional manner to ensure that the dishes are served in a very methodical fashion and adequately staffed to meet the demands of 50+ people dining at the same time. Attaching a pic of the dishes served on a banana leaf in a traditional manner. We have lived in this town for past 24+ years and to have a traditional Onam Sadhya we had to travel 45+ mins to Tuckahoe or NJ. Keep up the great work.

We had the absolute best Mother’s Day meal at this beautiful, family-owned Indian restaurant. The buffet was incredible—thoughtfully curated with something for everyone: vegetarian, pescatarian, and meat-eater alike. Our favorites were the tikka masala and the tikka paneer—rich, flavorful, and perfectly spiced. The naan was great, the samosas crispy and packed with flavor. Even my kids, who usually aren’t the most adventurous eaters, went back for seconds (and thirds!) of the dal, rice, and paneer. And the mango lassis? Pure heaven.

But honestly, the food was just part of what made the experience so special. Every single staff member was warm, kind, and attentive—they treated us like family and went out of their way to make my kids feel welcome and seen. That kind of hospitality is rare. We are already planning our next visit.

Highly recommend—this place is a gem.

The food is great and very affordable if you get their weekday lunch box special. $9.99 (even cheaper if you call and order) gets you a meat curry, dal, rice, tandoori chicken, salad and naan bread!

Nila is absolutely delicious and I highly recommend trying their food. Me and my family go every month or two and the staff are so kind and always remember us. It's the best Indian food in the area!
