Plants are good. Full stop. 5/25/25 went to buy some plants and during the usually enjoyable experience I had to tolerate a ‘supervisor’ berating the staff of High School boys doing their best to layout the products. This ‘supervisor’ spoke to these young men, who were visibly embarrassed, repeatedly in the same condescending manner. I had to address two of them and apologize for the way she was speaking to them. Had to tell them, they were doing a good job. I won’t go back— ever. that is not how you treat your staff. They never talked back, they were never disrespectful. Unacceptable. Especially on Memorial Day weekend, as a combat vet, whom has fought and lost young boys such as these— you don’t break their spirt. You build it. Do better.

My favorite nursery in long island! Helpful and knowledgeable staff, great assortment of flowers and trees and the best bulk material you can buy! Their compost keeps my garden thriving. Thank you Leslie and team for always providing a wonderful shopping experience

12/27/2023. What a difference there is between a local small business and the big box stores. Went to purchase a Christmas tree today. All trees are same price no matter how tall or wide. $85. The seem really fresh after pull test. Very nice gentleman came out and helped us. Trees are open and you can see the fullness of them. Not all tied up and stacked like in lowes and depot. The gentleman suggested we stand about 10 feet away as he spun the trees around so we can get a better look. After selecting one he wrapped it up in twine, cut off a couple inches of the bottom and made a cross cut for better water absorption. Thank you.

Went in person ordered 3 yards of mulch. It showed up in the time frame they said. Driver was nice. Quality of mulch was much better than I expected. I found one medium rock and 3 little pieces of plastic out of 3 yards (just from applying it I wasn’t looking for it).

Only thing I would recommend Is specifying where to drop it since the driver was going to put it near my rear gate but I need most of it up front would have needed more labor. Not his fault though he was just trying to keep it out of my way for the driveway.

Also I ordered 3 yards they definitely gave me extra. I had to find a way to use it all.
