Orchard Hill Cider Mill

If you come to the Soons orchard, you must try the Orchard Hill and they ciders. The panini sandwich so delicious. The tasty of the sliced apple and bacon just melts your tastebuds.

Orchard Hill Cider Mill is not only fun to say (it rhymes!), but their hard cider is a major step up from the typical brands you might be familiar with. The flavors are much more sophisticated than just sugary sweet apples and have replaced beer or wine at my dinner table and get togethers many times.

I usually stop in just to grab a bottle or two since I'm not from the area, but I'd love to hang out in their tap room and take in the atmosphere one of these days. Cheers y'all, and thanks for the food drinks!

Today I went with my BF. As always, we had a delicious brunch. We each had a cider flight and shared a charcuterie board. Andrea was our server. She really is the best. She is very attentive without smothering us. She explained every cider in the flight to us. The charcuterie board was top-notch high quality choices. We really enjoyed the sausage and Andrea told us where they buy it in Pennsylvania, so we can get it on our own if we wanted to. This place is such a hidden gem. I can’t say enough. Nice things about it. We also really love how cozy it is. It has a great ambience. It’s nice that there is a choice of indoor and outdoor dining as well. I hope you try it and enjoy it as much as we do.

Where to start on Orchard Hill Cider Mill…(long review ahead)

I have been coming to the Orchard Hill Cider Mill for YEARS…literally before running water and bathroom plumbing when it was a canopy, a porta potty, and a grill outdoors. Then, they had music and twinkle lights. When they built the inside, they continued with live music until the pandemic. To adapt, they built an outdoor patio and created wireless ordering. (Technology doesn’t always work folks, these guys try their best. You’re also allowed to order manually.) They started happy hours and cidermosas to keep folks having fun. They bring an upscale vibe to a nature experience in a beautiful marriage. I have loved every iteration of this place. They have the BEST food than they’ve ever had in all their versions and a new rosé to try on their flight. And OH MY GOODNESS, THE CIDER SAUSAGE GRAVY FOR THE MEAT EATERS….trust me, I’d eat that alone with a spoon. DELICIOUS!!! The Pommeau 1066 is a sweet apple laced brandy that can be sipped alone or in their hot toddy. Don’t leave without buying some of their champagne style cider and checking out local wines. They even welcome well- behaved pets. If you see owner Donnan with a serious face and furrowed brow, it’s because he’s either trying to create the best experience for his current guests, thinking of new ideas for future fun, or trying to keep the place running as smoothly as possible. He’s serious about a good time! I will keep coming back, always. We love you, Orchard Hill!!

I must say this place surpassed my expectations, it's a wonderfully well put together orchard/restaurant/farmers market and I was 100% satisfied with my experience there. I would highly recommend this place for any house shopping needs for fresh produce/to have a date/a family get together.
