Pennings Orchard

I’ve gone apple picking in New Jersey every year, but this was my first time going in New York. I highly recommend it! There’s plenty to do, and the cidery is a great addition to the experience. For all your fall needs cider, donuts, and beer included make sure to check out the market.

We just took 40 soccer girls to Pennings Orchard and loved every minute.

We had an absolutely fantastic time apple picking at Pennings Orchard! From the moment we arrived, the staff was warm and welcoming, happy to give tips on which varieties were ripe and best for snacking or baking. The orchard was beautifully maintained, rows of healthy trees, loaded with crisp delicious apples, making it easy and fun for everyone to fill their bags.

The atmosphere was peaceful and family friendly with plenty of space to wander and enjoy the views. The quality of the fruit was outstanding, some of the best apples we’ve ever tasted! We left with full bags, happy hearts, and plans to come back again next season.
We highly recommend Pennings Orchard for anyone looking for a wholesome memorable outing. No need for reservations.

We had the best time apple picking this weekend! There was such a large variety of apples to pick from, we spent half the day in the orchard. The staff was all so friendly and our son had the best time on the train ride. “Choo! Choo! Train coming through!”. What a great way to start the Fall season! Thank you!
