Maria is the absolute best. She creates an extremely healing environment for every single person. The Biomat (that she uses on the acupuncture table in combination with the needles) is so healing and can help ailments ranging from moderate pain to cancer. My mom and sister see her every week as well, and we all tell everybody how beneficial it is to see her. Truly life-changing. She always knows what to do and how to help you feel better. She is extremely trustworthy. I never thought I could receive helpful pain relief for my chronic pain, but even after just one visit with her, I went from a 9/10 on the pain scale down to 0. I am a cancer survivor. I was suffering from many side effects caused mostly by chemotherapy. Maria reviewed my surgical records, scans, bloodwork, family history, and personal history. She listened to me and took my concerns seriously. I felt heard for the first time and hoped that I would no longer be disable. Before acupuncture I had difficulty breathing. I had difficulty walking and getting out of a chair because my bones and joints hurt and ached. I wasn't sleeping through the night. Then I started weekly acupuncture with Maria. She has been treating me for neuropathy in my hands and feet, a frozen left shoulder, scar tissue and adhesions, tinnitus (ringing in the ears). All of these side effects improved. Her treatments have improved my digestion, reduced the number of bowel movements, and improved my liver and kidney numbers. My sleep has improved and I am taking less medication for my diabetes. Yesterday was Thanksgiving and I realized how truly thankful I am that I started acupuncture treatments. I could never have imagined that my life could have improved to this degree. To me, it's nothing short of miraculous and I am truly grateful to be treated by this warm, caring provider.
