It wasn't crowded when I was there. It was peaceful with beautiful views of the Hudson River and the Tappan Zee Bridge.

Neat little park right on the hudson river with amazing views of the hudson river, Mario coumo bridge and rockland county. You'll find playground plenty of benches to sit along the water. Parking is by metered until 6 pm free on Sundays. Parking rate is $1/hrs for max of 4 hours. Park is available for non residents so definitely stoo by. Park has walking path along the water so soak in the great views.

A Stunning Hudson‑side Park in the Heart of Tarrytown

Pierson Park is a beautifully designed waterfront gem overlooking the Hudson River. I visited last spring, and it blew me away—from the scenic river views and sunset skies to the wide lawns perfect for picnics or relaxing.

    What I Loved:
    • Riverside Walks: The paved path along the river is fantastic—perfect for strolls or bike rides. You get incredible views of the Tappan Zee/Cuomo Bridge and even the NYC skyline on clear days.
    • Fun for All Ages: A splash pad and playground for kids, basketball, tennis, and bocce courts for everyone, plus open lawns for catch or sunbathing.
    • Clean & Well‑Maintained: Grounds are tidy, paths are clean, and facilities look cared for.

    Friendly Tips:
    • Parking Info: Make sure to park in visitor Lots C or D (metered most of the week). It’s easy to stray into residential-only or sticker-only areas.
    • Evening Vibes: Sunset here is magical—the bridge glows, folks fish or picnic, and the atmosphere is so relaxing. Just a few people mentioned occasional weed smoke lingering in the air.

This is just a beautiful spot, especially if they're doing one of their summer concerts. Really beautiful.

One of our favorites parks. My son loves the splash pad. I love walking the trail with a great view. Lots of green space to run around. Great for a day long outing. Lay out on the grass. Have a picnic. Play with the kids. Enjoy a walk. Take in the view. Even go for 4th of July and other events
