Super adorable storytime with lots of crafts! The children's room is rather small, but they make it work!

Such a WONDERFUL Library!! Everyone here is so FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL😊
There's PLENTY of parking, and, even a little playground area for children!
I just LOVE coming here, for books, movies or printing jobs. Call me "old fashioned", but nothing beats holding an ACTUAL BOOK in your hands for a good read!!

    I love the staff here.
Donna, Melissa, Wendy, and others, are all lovely & helpful.
It is an old bldg, stuffed to the gills but they make it work!
Part of the Mid-Hudson library system so I can order all of my books and have them delivered there.
I love that there is a community room. I have had my young child attend many youth geared events. My mother and I took a felting class that we enjoyed.
The vestibule full of books that can be taken for free has provided us with so much useful information and entertainment. It is such a wonderful feature that I believe supports this community.

I find the list of material to be useful and they are able to get a lot from the system of libraries they are a part of. They have extras beyond this available as well.
My problem is the way they let my efforts to create a group be wasted because of some hypocrites in the group. They complained about me not getting everyone's opinions on a Discord group and then decide that's a good way to vote me out of the group. The only response to me was an apology it didn't work out while nobody could even tell me the problem or accept any thing I said to make it right. I was called names and talked down to because we couldn't get more than a 2 to 2 vote for what system to switch to after the great WotC problem.

I'm so thankful for our little Plattekill Library and it's staff. Dispite this pandemic they have made it possible for the community to still use the computers now located in the senior center. You must call to set up an appointment but how incredibly helpful that was for me. I miss this wonderful staff and hope you all stay safe! Thank you for being there for us♥️. Donna LoVerso
