I am grateful for the years as a customer here and them taking my vision insurance which isn’t the best through my union. But my most recent experience here was very very disappointing. I went in for a simple eye exam, and contact lenses fitting. I also received my basic union provided glasses. These parts of the process weren’t terrible but when wanting to make sure my benefits were being used properly and mentioning I’d like to shop around for contact lenses, I was pressured into buying X amount of lenses for X price that is far out of my price range and if I pay X price I can save X money on a rebate that might work if submitted properly. I was stood over by 3 employees trying to convince me. I was also talked down to an told by Dr. Bohn that “he only makes 25cents of some of these glasses” or some other shit. As a grown man, I stuck to my guns, was adamant about what I wanted, and ended up finding the amount of contacts I need for the right price point for myself and my budget online. And didn’t have an upselling conundrum on my hands either. I won’t be returning to this practice after this experience. My girlfriend who was waiting with me was also astonished at the behavior. 2 stars for getting the basics right, and the wonderful and always helpful front desk staff. Thankful for the handful of pleasant experiences here but something was way off on my last visit here.

I have been using Plaza Optical for years and continue to be amazed by the service (going above and beyond) and the professionalism as well as their ability to explain the examination and findings in laymen's terms. They did an extraordinary job identifying lenses and frames that I desired.

I would like to thank Dr. Bohn and all his wonderful staff. iI have been a patient for almost 30 years now. I and my family have always received the highest level of care and attention. His dedication has always been above and beyond in all of our visits. Thank you for everything!!!

Great experience at Plaza Optical today. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the doctor was kind and explained everything clearly. My mom felt comfortable the whole time. Highly recommend!

I have been a patient of Dr Bohn for over 25 years and have always been impressed by the professionalism, friendliness, and helpfulness each and every member of his team shows. As one with a complicated prescription I appreciate how thorough the eye exam is and how each finding is explained. Once the exam was over they guided me through the vast collection of frames helping me decide along the way. Highly Recommend!
