Losing my mom was the most heartbreaking moment of my life. It’s a pain I wouldn’t wish on anyone. But during this incredibly difficult time, Ponce Funeral Home was there for us—every step of the way.
They were prompt, compassionate, and extremely helpful, guiding us through each part of the process with care and professionalism. My mom looked absolutely beautiful—natural, peaceful, and exactly how we asked. It meant the world to us.
Ms. Dorothy was truly amazing. Her kindness, empathy, and professionalism stood out from beginning to end. She made us feel welcome, answered every question we had, and never once made us feel rushed or overlooked.
The funeral home itself is beautiful and very well kept. We were even able to play a slideshow and use their speaker system to play the Motown songs my mom loved so much. It made the service feel deeply personal and special.
This wasn’t the first time I’ve I was at Ponce Funeral Home. A cousin of mine also entrusted them with arrangements for her mom in July, and once again, they exceeded every expectation.

Beautiful and companionate job by Miss Dorothy who was completely detailed, considerate and patient with any question, concern or comment my family and I had. This is, personally, my first time being a part of funeral arrangements for a deceased family member and the process was made so much easier and many of my concerns were put to ease by Dorothy. Ponce Funeral Home provided my family with exceptional support during a very difficult time. The staff — David, Fred, Nicole, and especially Dorothy — were kind, compassionate, and respectful. They went above and beyond to help us make as many arrangements as possible remotely since we live out of state, and handled getting my father overseas seamlessly.

When I visited, they turned a day I expected to be full of heartbreak into one of peace and unity. Their attention to detail, even asking about my father’s appearance to ensure he looked like himself, meant so much to us.
